If you are a coder by heart and blood who loves to crack the uncrackable then we would love to see it too. This hackathon is for building on something that will make you feel proud of what you would do for it. We need die hard crazy coders who work on iOS development and are anything but sane (with regards to creativity & imagination).

Since we @BeLyfe believe that "If it was easy, then everyone would do it".

48 hours with a set of task and fueled with the passion for coding if your game.

Eligibility

ELIGIBILITY

HackLyfe Hackathon organizers will have the right at their sole discretion to determine whether an entrant is eligible for the Contest. HackLyfe Hackathon may disqualify, at organizers’ sole discretion, HackLyfe Hackathon entries (including, without limitation, content submitted in connection therewith) that

(a) are in violation of third party rights or law or regulation,

(b) use inappropriate or explicit language or images, or display content that HackLyfe Hackathon or Sponsors otherwise finds objectionable or inconsistent with HackLyfe Hackathon’s or Sponsors' brand image or goodwill.

HackLyfe Hackathon can accept only those HackLyfe Hackathon Entries that are completed and submitted as described above and that conform to any technical requirements specified as part of the entry process. HackLyfe Hackathon entries that do not comply with the provisions of these Official Contest Rules will be deemed ineligible and will not be considered.

 

Requirements

All participants are required to bring their own laptops to code, as a video app test phones will be provided by us (upon request),

 

1. True HDR video capture in iOS

2. Automatic Slowmotion in a video

3. Capturing Video with different fps in a single video in iOS

4. Balancing white balance and exposure when a cam is moved from very light situation to a dark environment

5. Compressing video to decrease its size without compromising the quality of the video

All Participants are free to use any 3 rd party library they want.

Judging Criteria

  • Quality of the overall goal
    HDR : if it is true HDR, we wont judge the processing time In case of Slowmotion , we will judge where the slowmotion is happening and the transition from normal motion to slowmotion
  • Quality of the code
    We will see if there is a glitch or lag while changing the fps in the runtime How much time it is taking to rebalance itself Compression ratio will be mainly evaluated
